My New Year’s Resolutions
1. Finish my weight loss adventure by continuing to eat healthy and work out. I lost 35 pounds over the last year and have another 20-35 pounds that I need to lose. A good way to kick start your weight loss goal for the New Year is to get a group together and do the Live Healthy America 100 Day Challenge. Go to Live Healthy America’s site for more information and to sign up – the challenge starts January 14th.
2. Finish all of the projects that I have started.
a. Knitted Harry Potter scarf for Harry Potter 6 in July
b. Crocheted cabled hat
c. Spring poncho for my niece’s birthday in May
d. Jean quilt for my “sister’s” high school graduation in May
e. House projects
3. Finally get my bachelor’s degree in May! I’ve been working on my B.S. Horticulture through Texas Tech’s distance program.
4. Get a professional job after graduating
5. Put more effort forth in my “side jobs” – eBay sales, mystery shopping, and maintaining this blog
To keep your resolutions…
- Aim high: if you shoot for the moon, you’ll at least land among the stars! J
- Break the large goals down into smaller goals.
- Seek support in family and friends – they may help hold you accountable for your actions and goals.
