I love making homemade bread, but I use a bread machine to do the hard work. After the first knead I remove the dough and then follow the rest of the directions. THANKS!!! Geri

This must be good if your hubby couldn't wait. I'm a bread lover and I could just picture that butter melting and ooh how it must smell so good in your home. I'm going to have to give this a try - soon. ~ Robyn

I too love bread, and love to make it as well. I will be trying this recipe.

Thanks for the fun photos and wonderful intro the the moist bread. Maybe some hamburger buns made from this dough would be awesome.

I really need to get back to bread baking again. We really prefer it. Thanks for the nudge:) Beginning August 5, I will be hosting Crock Pot Wednesdays at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com. I hope you will join me and, hopefully, share in the giveaways:) Mister Linky is up and waiting for your entry.

I love homemade bread, but I let my bread machine do all the kneading and first rise. After that I take the dough out and form it into a loaf and do the second rise, then bake as directed. THANKS!!! for the Oatmeal Bread recipe. Geri

We LOVE bread at our house, and I've never made oatmeal bread before. Thanks for the instructions--I really enjoy making the recipes that people post for Food on Fridays. When I get back from my trip (I'm on a family vacation this week), I'm going to give this a go!
